Today we will drive you in the north of Campania region40 kilometres (25 mi) far of Naples.
Caserta's main attraction is its Royal Palace (listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site).
The palace was created in the 18th century by the Italian architect Luigi Vanvitelli as a Versailles-like residence ("Reggia") for the Bourbon kings of Naples and Sicily. It is one of the most visited monuments in the country.
Inside are more than 1200 rooms, decorated in various styles.Surrounding the palace is a 50,000 square meter garden with a magnificent, 75 meter-high waterfall visible from the palace.
After the beauty of the Caserta Royal Palace, the tour will continue to the Cantina del Vesuvio , a winery that was born after the last eruption of the Volcano Mount Vesuvius (1944) where you can taste the famous wine called “Lacryma Christy”.
Here you will be served 5 wines (white ,red and rosè),all accompanied whit our typical food specialties of the Campania region (like Bruschetta whit salame and provolone, spaghetti whit cherry tomatoes and fresh basil to finish whit a PastieraNapoletana, a ricotta and corn pie typicall of Easter time).
